Concept

Project Brief

We set out to create an engaging Multiplayer experience to serve as a social platform for Fru to engage with his fan-base.

We built Fru Land with scalability, engagement, and live-service components in mind. In line with his core audience's interests, we created Survival and Skyblock gamemodes.

Infinite Scalability

With increased demand, new Survival Worlds and Skyblock Islands could be created instantly, resulting in infinite scalability across the board.

Execution

Gameplay Elements

Our core design principle for Fru Land centered around creating an experience across Survival and Skyblock that allowed fans to play together and meaningfully engage with Fru through seasonal events, social features, and content integrations.

To this end, we built completely custom systems for Land Claiming, Custom Crops, Dungeons, Cosmetics, Limited-Time Events, Towns, Skills, Quests, Islands, Rewards, and so much more.

Monetization

In addition to social and gameplay features, we created ways for Fru to monetize his audience through the purchase of in-game cosmetics supporting development and content-creation.
